Performance Guarantee Program
Performance Guarantee
We are proud to back our product with the strongest guarantees in the industry. We are so confident you'll be successful, that we'll write you a check if you're not.
-
The SeaGraze® Performance Guarantee is a voluntary reimbursement program for beef cattle producers trialing SeaGraze® Meal or Oil. To qualify, participants must feed a minimum of 100 head of beef cattle for at least 180 consecutive days, follow Symbrosia’s feeding and handling guidelines, and submit complete data documentation. Only one claim per operation is allowed per fiscal year.
-
If a producer is dissatisfied after completing the 6-month trial and provides all required documentation, they may be eligible for a reimbursement of up to $15 per head, not to exceed the total cost of SeaGraze® products purchased (excluding tax, freight, or third-party fees). Reimbursements are issued either as a check or a credit toward future purchases.
-
Participants must provide product use logs (including type, batch numbers, and invoices), cattle inventory, feeding protocol records, and a satisfaction statement explaining their dissatisfaction. Logs should confirm no major dietary or system changes during the trial, and that SeaGraze® was the only new feed input. Incomplete or inconsistent records will render the claim ineligible.
-
Claims must be submitted within 60 days of completing the 6-month feeding period. Enrollment in the program must occur within 30 days of initial product application. The program operates on a rolling basis with no fixed annual deadlines, but all claims are subject to Symbrosia’s review and may be denied or audited for accuracy.

Is Low Emissions the New Organic?
The findings in the survey indicate that consumers are not only willing to pay higher prices for SeaGraze®-fed products but also highlight the perception of "low emissions" as a new standard comparable to organic.
FAQs
-
Asparagopsis taxiformis (seaweed) is the only ingredient in SeaGraze® and has been shown in a number of studies to aid in digestion and reduce enteric methane emissions by 80%. SeaGraze® supports immune, metabolic, reproductive, and digestive function in livestock.
-
SeaGraze® is a concentrated source of minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and polysaccharides which contain prebiotic properties. Seaweed are powerful bioaccumulators, absorbing nutrients from the seawater directly through their fronds. Land plants, in contrast, can only feed from the limited minerals present around their roots. The trace metals are essential for proper immune and thyroid. Specialized compounds found only in this seaweed species reduce enteric methane production dramatically in the rumen. Naturally chelated, SeaGraze® is bioavailable and readily utilized. It only takes small amounts to deliver benefits to livestock at all stages of life.

All of our Asparagopsis taxiformis (seaweed, aka limu kohu) is grown and processed in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i.
-
Blend SeaGraze® as a percentage of grain and silage rations, or free choice alone or with salt. Feed 1/2 oz of SeaGraze® per 200 lbs of body weight.
Ruminants tend to self-regulate free-choice consumption of SeaGraze® with recommended mineral intake rates. When feeding SeaGraze® free choice, provide a covered mineral feeder and ensure access to salt and clean water.

You sure can, and we are here to help! By partnering with us for methane measurements, Symbrosia is able to verify the amount of reduced methane emissions, and we will then apply for a carbon offset on your behalf through the existing VERRA protocol or state markets (if applicable). We’ll work on your behalf to turn your carbon credits into a new income stream!
